IMPORTANT NOTE Early releases of MS Windows 2000 (pre Service Pack 3) contain a bug that will cause Windows 2000 to hang with a "General Protection Fault" during execution of our courseware. Microsoft have acknowledged the problem & have provided a hotfix. This hotfix is not included in Windows Service Packs 1 or 2. It is anticipated that it will be included in Service Pack 3 scheduled for release late 2001. All users of our courseware running Windows 2000 releases prior to Service Pack 3 will need to install the hotfix. This is a simple, automated operation. The hotfix may be installed directly from the Microsoft web site: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=29465 Click the "Download Now" button & when asked, select install. Alternatively, the hotfix file is included on this CD in the Win2000Update directory. Locate & run the file named "Q288165_W2K_SP3_x86_en.EXE".
